How the Observer Effect Impacts Your Life
In New Physics the Observer Effect is as much about the quantum world as it is about your consciousness that impacts what your perception of life creates in the world.

The ability to observe your feelings, thoughts, and sensations is vital for wellness and well-being. The ability to observe ourselves acknowledging our emotions and feelings as part of a bigger picture allows us to realize that we are more than any of these parts.
The information that comes from your body-mind system can come in many ways or forms. Information emerges from your mind, your heart, your gut, your breath, tension, and relaxation states, and even from your bones. Being in touch with your thoughts, sensations and feelings allow you to be more in tune with what your filter is reporting in the present.
This awareness invites you to a deeper quality of attention. When this is so, there is neither an observer nor a quality of judgment of being observed. By changing the lens of your perception “camera” you get the opportunity to witness from 20,000 feet while at the same time going more in-depth. By doing so you move out of the unconscious imprints of the past more consciously into what is happening in the present. This allows you greater freedom and choice instead of boomerang reactions from limiting beliefs, attitudes, and perceptions.
Being able to observe your perception of what you are feeling or thinking builds the bridge between the inner world and the outer experience of your life. For example, if by observing that you feel the tension in a particular experience, your body is letting you know a number of things. From your brain’s perspective, it could be that you are resonating with a signal of fear from the past that activates a belief about what is happening now. Looking at life through the lens of fear creates the condition of attachment to conflicting desires and reactions related to your fear. Even when your mind is confused, it is choosing a particular perception based on conflict. The attachment is to what your thoughts tell you. In response, your body might register a change in breathing pattern, an increase in blood pressure, or a sense of urgency for a defense response.
However, it is also possible to observe this perception by using your body-mind system’s inner technology to bring calm. By observing the tension, allowing it to be what it is, giving it a place in your awareness, you give an expanded view of the message from tension, and all of its pathways of communication in the present. Being in touch with your breath specifically, you can begin to experience listening with intention. You can slow down. In this way, you begin to make space for attention to the underlying needs that your thoughts and body sensations are giving you. Listening to your body and your mind is key to participate in creating integrity in your wellness and well-being. It is your relationship with this perception, thought, feeling and sensation that creates consciousness.
Taking action based on the input your own body-mind system gives you allows you to experience greater “author-ship” and sovereignty with informed choices based on expanding. The question is: “How do I make this a practice in my life?” Make space for registering your breath patterns, take time to rest, take a brief walk, journal, get a good night of sleep, eat nourishing foods to feed your organs, stretch, look out over an expanse like the ocean, across a hill or mountain area, or read a book can all be activities to begin the process of shifting your perception from near to far, inner to outer, from tension to calm.
There are many ways to improve your ability to tune into your inner perceptions, and as unique as you are, there are always signals that will always give you feedback if you listen.
Sometimes your body-mind system signals the need for change in small ways and specifically when you are hungry or tired. Other times your body-mind system lets you know that you need to process emotions and stored feelings through tears, a need for solitude or friendship, or the need to sleep. Your food choices can also report in on what you need for energy in life. Do you need more sweetness? Are you dehydrated? Do you feel ungrounded?
Your muscles and bones can give you a sense of structural feedback. Do you feel heavy? Do you feel numb in some areas of your body? Are you able to tense and then relax? Do you have what you need to move you through life? Being more in-tune with your inner sensations allows you to take action to create positive change.

It’s About Pacing Yourself Over Time
Nature paces itself as it moves through the seasons. Pacing yourself over time, allows you to move with greater ease through shifts, challenges, stressful situations, and transitions. The cycles of life can be looked at through the lens of where you are today, and more importantly where you have traveled over time. Pacing yourself over time happens one moment, hour, day, week, month, season, and year at a time.

It is true that the patterns that show up in your life today related to your attitudes, beliefs, and perception of interaction with the world have taken years to develop. They have evolved and changed. These patterns affect how you plan, meet obstacles, experience joy, and acknowledge rewards and seeming failures.
To acknowledge that it is possible to create positive change over time includes working with the present moment. With each new insight and awareness, you choose the capacity to move towards life-enhancing choices in your life. The journey begins with starting in the present and building new neural pathways, beliefs, and habits over time: one moment, hour, day, week, month, season and year at a time.
Pacing Yourself Moment by Moment
A simple way to connect to the moment is to get in touch with your breath, breathing in and out through your nose. By getting in touch with your in-breath and out-breath with its calming effects, your nervous system creates nurture and support for being better able to be present in the moment. This creates a greater ability to focus, listen, and process what is happening in front of you.
If you are feeling anxious or disoriented, you can also add a contact to the middle of your chest at Conception Vessel 17 area to reinforce the connection between all the organ systems of your body to enhance communication and life energy flow to transform your mood and awareness of where you are in the present.

Pacing Yourself Hour by Hour
- Meditate, read, and take brief rests or walks. Pause during the day to look out the window if you are in an indoor workspace. Look at ways to bring a 10-15 minute rest period into your schedule daily. Research has shown that taking a break to read for as little as 6 minutes creates a greater sense of calm.
- Make time to stretch and wind down. Take your time, reduce stimulation, and spend time with others in pleasurable ways. Express gratitude. Nourish your body with whole foods, water, and sunlight. Take some quiet time to rejuvenate in the midst of a busy day.
- Break your work into sizable parts. Prioritize and delegate.
Pacing Yourself Day by Day
Building in time for work, play and self-care is important to create harmony and balance in your life. In order to take care of yourself, make space for self-reflection, gratitude, and centering. By doing so, you energize your intentions, restore your energy, and pace yourself instead of burning yourself out.
There are many ways to create possibilities for these options in your day, if only for a few moments.
- Before going to sleep it is important to transition from the business of the day. Sometimes, you might still have a challenge on your mind before sleeping. In order to truly rest, it’s important to move to get out of the fast-paced zone. While there are many ways to fall asleep, building mindfulness into your sleep routine is beneficial to allow your body-mind system to detox and rejuvenate overnight.
- Some people get into the gratitude zone with reflection from the day. This can be done with gratitude for what you did, created, or avoided during the day. With this, you can also bring in what you feel grateful for in regard to others during the day including a smile, a gesture, or a compliment. And lastly, you can express regret for the day. This allows you to really put down the worry, anxiety, and tension you carry during the day. When there is an issue involving a decision, you can also offer a question before sleep while acknowledging that you cannot solve the issue. By letting go, ask for a solution you have not thought of yet, and include in your request a solution for the highest and best. This allows your body-mind system to connect to the calm reservoir of wisdom from your higher self. - Mindful Exercise: Exercise creates positive mood-altering neurotransmitters and promotes a sense of well-being. Pacing Yourself Month by Month
Taking care of monthly bills and commitments is part of life. However, it’s also important to know that you are affected by personal, natural, and cultural cycles. These include anniversaries, holidays, and deadlines. Your health is also affected by the natural cycles of the moon. Learn more here.
Season by Season

Each season has its own qualities in sync with nature. In order to access nature’s rhythm, use the wisdom of the Chinese Five Elements in your life.
Summer: Be sure to spend time with others in ways that nourish your heart. Enjoy your connections through laughter, hugging, playing and joyful expression.
Late Summer: Find ways to be in touch with centering yourself. Be at home within. Find movement practices that ground your energy and increase your well-being like Tai Chi or Qi Gong. Express gratitude. Look at what you are harvesting in your life. Remember to balance giving and receiving.
Fall: Become aware of what inspires you. Look at your values, and how you are living these values in your life. Nurture self-acceptance and expand your spiritual practices so that they allow you to let go of that which is no longer necessary. Remember to breathe.
Winter: Tune into that which allows you to pace yourself while you persevere. Rest, dream,, and listen to your inner vision for life and to others. Examine where you are needing support to meet obstacles and go with the flow of life.
Spring: Look at your vision of life. Consider what you need to bring into the light so that you can create intentions free of frustration and energy that cuts you off from the light, optimism, and hope. Detoxify your body-mind system for greater life-enhancing energy.
Pacing Yourself Year by Year
Looking at nature, you notice what happens as time passes. Seeds become sprouts. Sprouts become flowers. Flowers become fruit. Their seeds are dispersed and become dormant through winter creating new growth. Small tree plantings become forests. As the years progress it is important to look at what has been seeded in your life, and what course this has created for you.

What Impacts Your Vision of Life? (Four Ways to Positive Change)
Resonance Repatterning® works with universal disciplines that impact your body-mind system for greater wellness and well-being. Vision Repatternings are part of this process. Vision is more than just your eyeballs. Dr. Harry Sirota, an optometrist, extensively worked with the emotional, mental, and physical qualities of vision that influenced these repatternings.
There are four primary contributing factors that impact your vision of life: light, movement, breath, and memory.
Light: The transmission of light to your brain and visual cortex is only the beginning of the process. The quality of light in the body-mind system is expressed through the glandular, immune, endorphin, muscular, emotional, and respiratory systems. How you experience the physical world depends on how your body-mind systems interpret it. The use of this light in your body-mind system depends on the quality of this communication.
What You Can Do: Knowledge is key to understanding the components of healthy vision. Get into full-spectrum light daily for at least 5-15 minutes. Make time for movement with relaxed and full breaths daily. Find ways to break up long sessions of near-point/close-up work either at the computer or with reading. Surround yourself with color and experiences that make you laugh or bring joy. Get out into nature, or take breaks to relax your eyes by looking out into nature.
Movement: The brain receives stimulation from the light impulses from the rod and cone cells found on the back of the eyeball. The brain, in turn, stimulates muscles in the body. The light-brain-muscle relationship is directly translated to movement. The quality of this connection is expressed in your posture, orientation in space, and how you experience a connection to self. When there is an imbalance in the brain-movement connection, it changes how your muscles work together. When this energy is limited or blocked, it can result in a sense of numbness, limited motion, or pain.
What You Can Do: Get in touch with what brings you confidence and joy. Find a way to commit to action by including activities that bring joy to your life. Get out into nature. Take walks with friends or walk your dog. This will give you more positive energy and a brighter outlook on your life. Massage your face, especially around your eyes. This will help you focus on and release stress.
Breath: Your eyes are second only to the brain in their need for oxygen. When there is less light entering your visual system, the breath centers of the brain do not receive the nourishment they need. Traumas left unresolved can result in interruptions of breath cycles. This can sound like excessive sighing, holding the breath, or shallow breathing. Stress response breathing limits the oxygen delivered to your entire body-mind system.
What You Can Do: Find ways to bring movement with the full breath into your daily life. Meditate with an awareness of your breath empowering your life force. Do Three Harmonizing Breaths by inhaling through your nose, keeping your tongue on the top of your mouth. Exhale through your mouth, relaxing your tongue on the floor of your mouth.
Memory: Unmet basic life needs stored in your body’s memory from unresolved issues from the past can affect the quality of vision you have today. Emotional pain and tension tighten or weaken the eye muscles in response to emotional stress. This happens when the Sympathetic Nervous System’s fight or flight response to stress signals. This changes your near and far-point vision, and the shape of your eyeballs, and impacts the ability of your eyes to track vertically and horizontally. When this happens, your ability to experience all of your senses changes in regard to self and others.
What You Can Do: Give yourself some loving and relaxing time to process events or situations in your life. Take inventory of stressful situations in your life. Find a way to delegate or let go of clutter in your home, office, and activities. Make a space to heal unfinished business from the past. Create images in your mind and heart that bring a sense of happiness or gratitude. Find reasons to laugh.
It’s important to know that your perception of life impacts your attitude. Envisioning what is possible is your way of seeing the world. If you experience constant inner conflict, the feeling of being stuck, or feel that life is mostly hardship, this relates to both your vision of life and your physical vision. The relationship between stress and your attitude about a situation relates directly to how you envision your goals. Your vision directly impacts how you view a situation, and how much you can see other views or possibilities.
On the Chinese Medicine Wheel, vision is directly assigned to Wood Element, and works with the liver and gallbladder. The liver works with processing toxins or unfinished business. Gallbladder works with processing fats or with decision-making. On the non-coherent side, anger and frustration interrupt coming to a resolution so that you can move forward with clarity and optimism.
