Reaching Depths for New Possibilities

Reaching depths for new possibilities is a process. One of the definitions of depth is the quality of being profound (as in insight) or full (as of knowledge). Resonance Repatterning® provides a way to work with the body-mind-spirit system to reach insight that brings greater knowledge about how to create greater coherence in your life. By doing so, you have access to the depth of experience from your own life, Family Systems, and energetic information stored in every muscle, tissue, organ, and gland through the Resonance Muscle-Checking system.

The process accesses information stored in your system even at the cellular and sub-atomic or quantum levels to identify what your system needs to transform limiting beliefs, attitudes, and concepts of time to rebuild a stairway to more optimal integrity in your wellness and well-being.

“Look within; within is the fountain of all good. Such a fountain, where springing waters can never fail, so thou dig deeper and deeper.”~Marcus Aurelius

The Depth of the Trauma Body’s Information for Transformation

When you experience trauma whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or injury to your core essence of who you are, your body stores this information in the form of energy. When this energy is not mobilized for release in a healthy way, it is stored as a stress response that keeps you stuck in a frozen state. This state activates defense mechanisms designed for your survival.

When your body-mind-spirit system operates from the survival level, your capacity to experience safety and trust is contaminated with the unresolved need to protect through fight, flight, or immobilization.

Imagine the impact on the way you face life from these survival strategies. It affects what you believe, what you think, and how you react or do not take action in your own life. In fact, the parts of yourself doing this work will protect you from experiencing anything that threatens your survival state.

This means that your system living in chronic stress will not be able to see or experience new opportunities outside of this framework. This can translate into feeling like you have little agency and that the world around you has more authority over you than you have over your own life.

We all experience stress and stressful situations. Chronic stress and negative emotions can point to a deeper state of distress stored in the Autonomic Nervous system. The stairway from the Trauma Body’s habitual response to what it sees, feels, hears, and experiences into a place that feels safe, secure, and trustworthy is accessed only by diving deep into the tissue of the material the parts of you that have been traumatized and held in place, and then given voice and agency with support and nurture.

The beauty of Resonance Repatterning sessions is that every step is guided by what your system needs most for this purpose. Coherent updates are part of every part of the work. This allows your system to become more greatly acquainted with new possibilities and opportunities at a pace that creates greater harmony and balance throughout your system.

The Depth of Blockages to Create Greater Life Energy Flow

You are designed for self-healing. In fact, a session creates greater life energy for positive change by identifying blockages and interruptions of your optimal life energy flow on the physical, emotional, mental, and spirit levels.

The depth of information is accessed and updated through the muscle-checking process through specific natural healing disciplines that work with the channels, meridians, and energy flows of the body. These modalities work with all of your senses including breath, light, color, sound, movement, acupressure, fragrance, energetic contact, consciousness science, frequencies, Family Systems, and holistic science.

Each modality works holographically in that treating one part of your system creates positive change in every part of your life. For example, if you are experiencing a limiting belief or emotion about yourself, and the modality that checks in is an acupressure point, the information from a particular point that treats “fear” might be accessed in a different part of the Chinese Medicine Wheel that works with creating greater nurture or support or balance from the energy of your heart to create greater sense of discernment or connection to joy and unconditional love. Treating the root of the fear, the core need is accessed and treated.

The outer work can never be small if the inner work is great. And the outer work can never be great if the inner work is small.” ~ Meister Eckhart

This ability to acknowledge the connection between different aspects of core needs often arises in Earlier Experiences or in generational material. Again, through muscle-checking, the root of the pain that keeps you stuck in survival mode can be reached at a time, level, and place within your system through the information stored within the map of your body.

This capacity to reach deeply into the energetics of connection between you and your life’s experience and your family’s systemic influence on the life you are living or not living today is your access through your DNA. Although about 80% of the material is unconscious, it is still available through your Autonomic Nervous System in this process.

This is your personal invitation to check in with yourself to take inventory of what might seem out of reach in regards to what you are not truly living in the way of your values in your communication, your life path, and your positive intentions for your wellness and well-being. If you find yourself feeling like you have lost your compass in the world, it might be time to work with the blockages that interrupted your ability to feel more at ease with yourself and what you are creating with your vital life energy. Has stress muddied the lens through which you see the good within yourself to create optimal life energy or direction you would like to choose? If so, it is time to dive deep into the depths to for new possibilities.

Transforming the Cracks in the Vase

Challenging and traumatic experiences can create cracks in the vase within your body-mind-spirit system. Some cracks might be physical injuries. However, emotional, mental, and injury to your sense of self also create cracks. Some challenges in your life have been resolved successfully. Other traumatic challenges feel like open wounds within. These parts have not experienced the release or completion of the mobilized energy required to return to greater harmony and balance. When this happens, the trauma lives on and it is as if you are frozen in trauma time without any way to make sense of or to mend what you have experienced.

The Embodiment of the Cracks in the Vase

Early challenging family experiences get tied to your need for safety and bonding. In fact, these early patterns of attachment get played out in social bonding patterns throughout life. As a little one, you experienced first attachment, and this gets translated into your Social Engagement System with your interactions throughout life. This includes patterns in business, relationships, and groups to which you belong. If your body-mind system pairs neglect, anger, or danger with early needs for bonding and attachment, this binds you to this bonding pattern and impacts the blueprint for your relationships throughout life. This shows up as anxiety or avoidance instead of your ability to experience security, safety and trust in your relationships.

“We live in a world that has a cognitive bias and assumes that our actions are voluntary. We are confronted with questions related to motivation and outcome. We are asked about costs, risks, and benefits. However, state shifts in the neural regulation of the autonomic nervous system are usually not voluntary, although the state shifts have a profound impact on behavior. The state shifts occur in a more reflexive manner when we are confronted by specific cues in the environment.”
~Stephen W. Porges

Taking the journey of healing within begins with examing those unconscious parts of yourself from your stressful or traumatic earlier experiences. They actually take a great deal of life energy with the overlapping fight, flight, freeze blueprint patterns that contribute to relationships without safe or close bonding, abusive interactions without trust, codependence, or inability to feel like you are enough.

This protection and management might show up as frustration, anxiety, fear, anger, repetitive and painful relationship experiences, inability to discern danger, or difficulties making decisions. Trauma impacts your thoughts, your Nervous System, your gut, your immune system, your beliefs, and your ability to navigate life with safety and trust.

These inner parts can be held in place by guilt from the negative messages you received as a child. Tied to the core rules of your family, taking the burden of the system’s belief system can limit your ability to face life fully. Guilt for actions you did or did not take and words you regret can keep you tied to negative earlier experiences. It can influence how you relate to your Family System by expanding or breaking your group’s rules. This leads to systemic guilt, however, when met with a shift in perspective, can lead to greater freedom

. Shame can also result in a pervasive sense that you are fundamentally bad, wrong, or broken. Whether is a family pattern or you take the burden of the system that judges your inner being and worth make it difficult to expand into a new awareness or to move on.

However, these parts and how you responded in life were efforts to meet basic life needs for safety, respect, love, purpose, and meaning at any given point in time.

“There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.”~Leonard Cohen

Transforming the Cracks in the Vase

Resonance Repatterning®sessions allow you to connect the dots from the past to the present. It becomes clear where the root causes, relationships, and experiences are replaying in trauma time in the present. Whether it be in an intimate relationship where abuse is happening in the same way you experienced it as a young child, or in a business relationship where the pattern of sabotage is happening due to family patterns of loss or shame in the present, realizing that you are recycling the same patterns gives you greater freedom of choice.

Every next level of your life will demand a different you.” ~Leonardo DiCaprio

Sometimes things feel worse at the beginning before they get better. This is borne out of working with the pain of your experiences that have been hidden for your own protection. However, it is in this very process of working to heal the cracks in the vase that self-acceptance is forged to create greater personal empowerment. How you responded in life at earlier times were efforts to meet basic life needs for safety, respect, love, purpose, and meaning from the perspective and point of view at the time. Self-acceptance and forgiveness contribute to reclaiming emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual real estate to interact with the world.

The transformation process includes the essentials of self-love. It is asking yourself if you can love yourself at the moment for the experiences of your past including all the time spent in suspension with what you know today you could be, choose, and live free of the constriction that your negative experiences, feelings, relationships, thoughts, and choices created.

Bringing Gold to the Cracks in the Vase

When you look at the word evolution, you can see the word, love at the beginning. The word leans into the process of creating the word and comes from within. Seeing things in new ways literally comes from opening to new perspectives created from the internal positive changes you bring to your awareness. Bring gold to the cracks in the vase to allow the light to enter your body-mind-spirit system. By doing so, you are then able to turn things around and radiate your own light and love. This happens because you resonate with the freedom to be yourself more fully.

The truth is, the time is always here and you can begin now. Time is of the essence to relax, rest and update the changes you need to transform your life. It is this place that allows emptiness and also fullness. The need for attention to yourself with all of your parts allows wholeness to emerge in new ways.

It is time to speak and move from a place of what is emerging as your truth from within. Know that you will take care of these needs that have been submerged or hidden in the cracks in the vase. Get to know and listen to your gut, your mind, and your body. Have compassion for places where you have made errors, and give earlier parts of yourself credit for doing the best they could at the time, for protecting you. Take the lessons and use them. Take the wisdom from your mistakes so you can learn from them with your ability to respond from a greater place of integrity and sovereignty today.

Give yourself permission to say “No,” to change your mind, or to take a pause so you can make space for emptiness. Build a new library of responses to life on your terms. At the same time, say “Yes,” to life when it really feels good to you, and revel in the wonder of fullness. Experiment with new awareness, knowledge, inspiration, gratitude, and spontaneity. Allow joy, fun, beauty, and pleasure a place in your experience and in your being.

Shine the light on what you truly need and what you would do to be the author of your own life aligned with love. As you do so, this also allows you to know what safety and trust feel like and this allows you to be more at ease to take action and communicate from your gold standard with more life-enhancing choices for yourself, with others, and in the world.

Letting Go of Old Tapes

Old Tapes

Letting go is a theme in nature, especially in fall. It’s an invitation to do the same with what no longer serves your growth and transformation. Old tapes are those negative limiting beliefs, attitudes, and thoughts that keep you in habitual stress responses with life-depleting patterns that keep you in similar scenarios, relationships, and outcomes. These old tape tracks are well-worn and imprinted in your life.

Old tapes like old songs generate a sense of the past. The problem is that playing old tapes without choice or introduction to any other option keeps you carrying the frequency of these tapes into your life. This impacts how you see the world around you.

Acknowledging the Source of Old Tapes that Keep You Stuck

Acknowledgment starts with the realization that most of these beliefs originate from times in your life when your needs for survival and response to life were experienced through the lens of emotions early in life. Whether they originated from family rules, acculturation, school, or unresolved trauma or loss, they created neural pathways reinforced over and over again as you moved through life attempting to get your basic needs met while monitoring and protecting the parts of yourself that learned these basic survival skills.

Because these old tapes are habituated into an automatic response or reaction menus, your unconscious brain response today defaults to the beliefs, thoughts, and responses to earlier experiences when presented with similar material. Your body-mind system is designed to avoid danger and to look for negative threats. Your Autonomic Nervous System creates your sensory-motor and influences your behavioral responses.

With the number of stimuli that bombard your system in every moment, culling through all of the signals present in the world around you gives the edge to this unconscious material to take care of your well-being.

Identifying Old Tapes that Keep You From Living Your Life More Fully

In fact, old tapes that keep playing today might actually be an introjected emotion, thought, or family rule that was present in your early life while you were immersed in the environment of stress experienced by a parent or caretaker. Even the stress of prenatal experience can influence your way of looking at the world today.

Identifying where activated alert, fight, flight, and immobilization responses from unresolved physical, emotional, and mental needs for survival is key to opening doorways to positive change. In trauma research, the residue of old tapes shows up in intrusive thoughts, hyper-arousal, and avoidance. Unresolved nervous system material shows up physiologically in sleep issues, nightmares, illness, changes in digestion, heart rate, hormone levels, and hyper-arousal. They show up mentally and emotionally in hyper-vigilance, anxiety, panic attacks, irritation, violent thoughts or actions, reliving or experiencing the initial pain and depression,

They show up behaviorally or socially in fawning/flocking with an excessive need to please others, submission by giving in to others, or defense to bring the attention of others through excessive crying. These tapes also contribute to compensating for pain through addiction, numbing or hiding out as a result of not being able to discern danger from life-enhancing choices. These behaviors point to the need to create a successful outcome or resolution from traumatic earlier experiences.

So it’s important to identify the actual old tapes that keep showing up and to get a sense of their source. Your beliefs about life, relationships, men, women, self, work, different groups, etc. impact how you face the world, and the quality of life energy you have to dedicate to your positive intentions for your life today.

These old tapes are played over and over within beliefs with an inventory of repetitive experiences in your life that play out in remarkably similar ways. You might even catch yourself looking at the world in negative ways with things you say out loud, how you move toward or away from others or situations, or within repetitive emotional, mental, or physical states that point to your reactions to life.

Transforming Old Tapes into New Possibilities

Resonance Repatterning® works with your inner technology to access information stored in your body-mind system at the unconscious level to bring life-depleting old tapes to the surface to identify and transform. This happens with a resonance muscle-checking system that connects to your Nervous System. Your Nervous System is connected to every organ, tissue, and gland in your body. This means that it is possible to work with prenatal, family, and activated unresolved traumatic experiences where patterns have been held. These patterns and old tapes keep playing as they get lived out in your relationships, your health, and your sense of well-being.

The process creates coherent release and updated options for your system to transform this information for more optimal functioning to create greater harmony and balance in your body-mind system. This happens with natural modalities of color, light, sound, movement, breath, energetic contact, fragrance, and consciousness science paired with your specific needs.

Sessions create greater relaxation, peace of mind, ability to connect to playfulness, love, joy, and stillness. By doing so, you are better able to experience more of what you choose to create in your life on the physical, emotional, mental, and spirit levels. You reclaim your authority (authorship) with greater life energy to dedicate your positive intentions. Your life-enhancing choices then create more conscious pathways that allow you to experience new possibilities for greater growth and transformation that are aligned with your vision of life.

How Attitude, Beliefs, Challenge, and Development Lead Your Response to Life

Your attitude, beliefs, challenges, and development lead your response to life. The question is, “What is driving?” Is it fear or reactivity from the unconscious material, unresolved issues, or the conscious desire to create kindness and resonance with direction and positive change? This article will explore the influence and possibility of attitude, beliefs, challenges, and development to expand your experience of life.

Attitude Leads to What You Believe

Your thoughts, beliefs, and feelings create your view of life. When your attitude diminishes yourself or others, this leads to life-depleting and limiting outcomes. If your mindset is fixed you are more likely to feel like you cannot try or experience life differently. When you experience a mindset based on the potential for growth, a growth mindset, you are more likely to engage energy, motivation, and respect for your journey whatever it is and where ever it leads.

Having an attitude for example that “I can’t learn that material because it’s too hard ” vs. “I haven’t learned that material yet, but I want to learn,” creates different views of the world. Which view opens the door to new possibilities?

Taking inventory or questioning your attitudes about different areas of your life can give you insight into what holds you back and what can also shine a light on opportunities for growth and transformation. Asking yourself what holds you back from getting an inspiring job, a nourishing home, a relationship, experience of peace or relaxation is a way of beginning to sketch out what your life experience is attempting to teach you at the moment. Asking and then working with the response is essential to positive change. How would your life be different from a new perspective?

Beliefs Lead to How You Meet Challenges

Beliefs create an automatic filter through which you see and experience the world. Your brain is wired for bias to create survival behavior. However, the threats in earlier evolutionary stages of the world as well as of your body-mind system can overshadow your ability to experience greater calm, joy, love, and vitality as well as your experience of safety in the world.

Tara Brach speaks to Papancha, a Pali word for “mental proliferation,” the chain reaction of thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and feelings that causes suffering.

Pause and notice you are in a spin of suffering, name it and allow it to be present. Allow it to be. Give it space. Get in touch with what you are believing and the stories you are telling yourself. Each time you interrupt the pattern and chain reaction allows you to return to mindfulness and create the blueprint for new pathways to reconnect to your innate inner wisdom.

Take time to get in touch with inner kindness and wisdom by asking yourself these questions.

  1. Can I get in touch with my breath to take a pause until I can begin to shift inner awareness and consciousness about what is happening?
  2. What am I feeling or sensing in my body and my heart? Get in touch with your body sensations and what this tells you about your feelings.
  3. Who am I blaming? Can I forgive or just be this awareness? Can I give it space, give kindness, and allow the feelings? This allows you to build neurotransmitters for other perspectives, intelligence, and awareness of possibilities.
  4. Begin to examine your reactions, responses, or behavior in different situations. Identify your triggers, and ask yourself if you want to continue responding in the same way. If not, how could you interrupt or respond differently to break the cycle of the fight, flight, or freeze reaction? This allows you to connect to the good within yourself and others.

By doing so you start to change the inner landscape of your vision by expanding the rules and circuitry of your belief systems that have been embedded by earlier experiences, family system rules, and inculturation.

Challenges Lead to Your Development

Life is a challenge. Meet it.”~Mother Teresa

When meeting challenges of any form, it’s important to know that what you believe upfront will determine what comes next. All of us have been thrown into situations where we felt overwhelmed, afraid, confused, hurt, betrayed, etc. It is for this fact that resonating with having been able to move through and out the other side of challenges in the past can allow you to work with a challenge in front of you now.

Challenges come in different durations and intensities. Putting challenges into perspective allows you to meet what is in front of you with both inner strength and wisdom when you resonate with having met challenges that created a sense of empowerment. This awareness reduces resistance and creates encouragement for what life is dishing out right now.

Of course, some challenges are larger than others, and not all challenges might feel like they are met with success. For example, if you spill coffee on your shirt, it is different than receiving a phone call about an ill family member that needsyour help that you can’t provide at the moment. Getting centered in both circumstances is beneficial. Being able to calm yourself first allows you to be more available to problem-solving, decision-making, and delegating.

Instead of reacting with the fight, flight, or freeze, it’s important to move out of fear into a greater sense of calm so that problems can be solved by calming the stressed mind to allow life-enhancing and creative choices to be considered. This also allows you to be kind to your own life to learn from past experiences where it might have felt you “failed” so you can apply what those experiences taught you to your current situation.

This is why getting in touch with your breath, taking a few moments, or using a phrase to remind you that you are in the here and now is beneficial. My personal favorites come from 12 Step Programs: “ First things first,” “Keep it simple,” or “One day or one moment at a time.”

Having the strength to get through some life challenges takes time and effort over the long run. Resonating with continuing to come back into your center allows you to pace yourself over time.

Development Leads to Direction in Life

Earlier versions of yourself carry information that can inform your life today. In the same way, your current version of self is able to inform earlier experiences and parts of yourself. You are not an abridged edition, rather you are an expanding and developing being of light and sound.

Your unconscious and conscious material that inform your attitude, beliefs, and responses to challenges make up your overall experience of life.

It’s important to acknowledge that the newborn version of you did not know what you knew as a 2-year-old. Your 7-year-old part of yourself did not know what you knew as a teenager, etc. The way that your body-mind system developed allowed primary functions for survival and feeling states in stages then became more complex with reasoning and logic paired with increasing networks of communication and creativity.

You would not expect your 2-year old part to drive a car, balance a checkbook or make scrambled eggs, yet earlier parts continue to inform and influence choices about bonding, separation, fear, calm, and safety as an adult. This is due to the developmental stage memory imprints from the past that continue to signal to you today.

Your adult self has navigated many developmental stages, challenges, relationships, and structures over time. Taking care of and listening to earlier parts of yourself is essential to developing greater harmony and balance within your life today.

The direction you take in your life is led by your personal and family system’s unconscious material. It conducts your journey until it is brought into the light to create greater conscious awareness and understanding of new possibilities from the perspective of your adult and Greater Self.

What Keeps You Separated from Love?

What Keeps You Separated from Love? That’s the question. Connecting to love creates life-enhancing benefits for your health, wellness, and well-being. Love is essential from the beginning of your life affecting how you perceive yourself, others, and the world. In places where you feel disconnected, the journey of reconnection can be resolving fear, anger, and shame.

1. Fear Keeps You Separated from Love

From the start of your life, you rely on bonding, safety, and trust to get your needs met by your mother and caretakers. The nurture between mother and child promotes oxytocin hormone, the long-term bonding neurotransmitter that creates an overall sense of wellness and well-being for nurture, safe connection as well as an exploration of the world. Unresolved bonding-separation stress can create tension and fear that result in long-term insecure, anxious, or avoidant behaviors. These behaviors create repetitive life-depleting relationship patterns that leave you feeling stuck or frozen in life. Fear keeps you from taking love within yourself and in your relationships with others.

“What we call obstacles are really the way the world and our entire experience teach us where we’re stuck.” ~Pema Chödrön

Changing your response to stressful experiences that trigger you is possible today to release past trauma that constricts your life energy. This allows your body-mind-spirit system to restore more calm and peace to learn how to retrain your responses to life to experience love.

Mystery is not always about traveling to new places, it is about looking with new eyes.”~Esther Perel

2. Anger Keeps You Separated from Love

The frustration that can arise from not having your needs for love, belonging, connection, and nurture met can create what feels like gaping holes in your being. However, this anger and frustration can also point you to the doorway to resolve the past while creating the potential for meeting these unmet needs in the present.

Anger narrows your vision of what is happening in front of you. Your survival and emotional brains (unconscious processing) will look for confirmation of behaviors, traits, and patterns that trigger reenactment in order to resolve earlier traumatic experiences or keep you in fight or flight mode.

3. Shame from the Past Keeps You Separated from Love

Shame separates you from love through seeing yourself as only a person with flaws or imperfections. This can be a sense of disconnect from life through your culture’s or family’s rules. It can be led by guilt related to times where you reacted out of fear or anger. It can keep you from knowing or experiencing life beyond forgiveness for the parts of your life that have been excluded or hurt. Shame can separate you from other parts of your being and life itself through misunderstanding or not knowing how to get your basic needs for love acknowledged in an inclusive, respectful, energizing, safe, and trustworthy way.

Love yourself-accept yourself-forgive yourself-and be good to yourself because without you the rest of us are without the source of many wonderful things.”~Leo Buscaglia

When you are able to see yourself with respect and regard for all of your life’s experiences, the good you bring to life along with the “mistakes” your mind believes you made along the way this is possible. Looking through the lens of living your life as a spiritual journey in the classroom of life, you are better able to consider new experiences, connections, and diverse points of view by seeing the bigger picture for new possibilities.

Relationships teach us about ourselves. We attract and experience connection with other people in a variety of ways~all of them opportunities for growth and transformation. Conflict shows up in the midst of issues related to the need for power and control, closeness and care, respect and recognition. The issues that show up in your adult relationships relate back to your first connections and how the needs for safety, trust, bonding, and exploration were interrupted or blocked. These unmet needs created longing, loss, and interference with self-expression.

Whether it be the relationship you have with an intimate partner, a friend, a coworker or someone who lives in your neighborhood, all of these interactions are opportunities to work with the material that has kept you bound or separate from loving yourself more fully. Each person is a teacher and can be a mirror of light into a deeper recognition of something inside that matches the need for understanding, love, and compassion.

There is no other than a different version of yourself. ~Esther Perel

Wherever you are today, isolated, sad, frustrated, or exhausted, it is time to know that your Greater Self is able to take the higher lessons from your awareness of what you have experienced. By moving from conflict to empathy the pathway to love is energized so that you can take what benefits your growth, self-expression, and needs for self-care.

Through working with your experiences from relationships through time, you can begin to realize that these parts and their voices contribute to expanding your awareness of your Greater Self so that you are able to give comfort, calm, and truth to your inner world so that you resonate with a greater spectrum of experiences in your relationships.

“Love after Love” by Derek Walcott

Resolving the inner life-depleting patterns that keep you from love creates the capacity to create a new way of interacting with others. Instead of making your relationship carry the burden of your earlier experiences, you create a new template for self-care with greater integrity, joy, and love. This is expressed in your communication and choices, as this enhances your ability to bond in healthy ways that are life-enhancing for you and reflected back in others.

It is possible to work with earlier experiences related to attachment with Resonance Repattenring®sessions to transform and update the unconscious material related to-verbal trauma still stored in your survival and emotional brain today as these aspects of memory are stored so that the relevance of your experience today that respond in the same way through the fight, flight or freeze behaviors.
